Samantha the blind dog

When blind Samantha arrived at the ranch, the first thing we noticed was just how cheerful this girl was. She wagged her tail and followed us everywhere with a big smile on her face. We called her "Smilin' Sam."

Meet the Animals - Gone but Not Forgotten

Champagne BobOne of the hardest parts of caring for so many animals is dealing with loss. It never gets any easier to say goodbye. It's especially hard when we have to make the difficult decision to put an animal to sleep. But thanks to the many generous people that help support the ranch, we always know that we have provided the best life possible for each animal, whether for many years or just a short period of time. Still, we miss our friends when they are gone. These are the special animals that we remember every day.
